Guenoc Valley enters its first phase of development, advancing a long-term vision for a landmark resort and residential community in Northern California.
Guenoc Valley Moves Into Initial Phase of Development
Guenoc Valley is moving into its initial phase of development following the completion of an extensive planning and entitlement process. Site preparation and infrastructure work is expected to commence in 2026, marking an important milestone for the 16,000-acre master-planned community that comprises the Lake County section of the overall development.
Set within Northern California’s wine country, Guenoc Valley has been conceived as a low-density destination bringing together hospitality, resort residences and expansive residential estates within an exceptional natural setting.
The first phase is expected to include 177 hotel units, 141 resort residences and 401 residential estates. Initial work will focus on water, electrical and roadway improvements, establishing the infrastructure for the phased development of the wider property.
Years of planning, environmental review and collaboration with local communities and public agencies have shaped the project, with particular emphasis on environmental stewardship, wildfire resiliency and the long-term preservation of the land.
MAHAMAN founders Adrian Zecha and Jonathan Breene are development partners in Guenoc Valley, bringing decades of experience creating internationally recognized hotels, resorts and residential communities.
The project is projected to generate approximately $3.8 billion in economic benefits for Lake County over 25 years while creating a new resort and residential destination grounded in the character and natural beauty of Northern California.
